i’m just like,
Want to go back!

One of my favorite passages :)
So my drive to and from work is about an hour and fifteen minutes each way in the back mountain roads of Kentucky. I have made my drive a competition to see what animals I could {almost} hit. I have to keep the long drive somewhat interesting. Here is my list.
THINGS I HAVE {ALMOST} HIT:
Deer (of course this is a no brainer, but when you almost hit it pulling into your driveway, it’s a little different)
Fox (actually it did look like Todd from the Fox and the Hound)
Dogs ( I have to tell you, there are more dogs than I can count that I find just walking down the middle of the road at 3am like they don’t have a care in the world)
‘Possums (it’s not even interesting to see them anymore, they’re like overgrown rats with eyes that glow red in the dark…i refer to them as demon spawn. Stupid little things that were born to be roadkill)
Chickens (don’t even get me started about how many homes have chickens that roam the front yard)
Wild Turkey (Anyone want to come down to Kentucky for Thanksgiving dinner?)
….and the most unusual thus far….I almost hit an OWL!!!! yeah it flew right across my windshield.
THINGS I HAVE {ACTUALLY} HIT:
I have been lucky so far, I have only hit a squirrel. Kind of unlucky for the squirrel. It would have lived if it decided to only cross the road in front of me twice, but no, it had to make that third lap…
If you live for the next world, you get this one in the deal; but if you live only for this world, you lose them both.
